Telehealth – A milestone for MOH was met 29/5/2008 with collaboration from local (BTL) and international (Intervol) NGOs. Telehealth is the delivery of health-related services and information via telecommunications technologies. Telehealth delivery could be as simple as two health professionals discussing a case over the telephone, or as sophisticated as using videoconferencing to between providers at facilities in two countries, or even as complex as robotic technology.

WinSig – A managerial tool for informed decision making; developed by PAHO. WinSig is being implemented at Southern Regional Hospital and progresses have been made to roll-out the application at Punta Gorda Hospital.

BHIS – The Belize Health Information System (BHIS) is a dynamic, comprehensive tool that will help to assist the Ministry of Health in providing the best health care services in the quickest, most affordable and efficient way to Belizeans.
